The Brief

Launch a skincare line in a high-traffic mall concourse

The Approach

A mall concourse is a harder venue than an exhibition hall: no neighbouring stands to define your space, no captive trade audience, and shoppers who did not come to see you. Sea Makeup's skincare launch had to earn attention from scratch in the middle of open circulation.

Design, Production & Execution

The design works in the round, because there is no back. A free-standing pod is anchored by a full-height LED column that carries the launch identity vertically - the one axis a concourse cannot crowd - and mirrored testing stations wrap the pod so shoppers can approach, try and see themselves from any side. Dressed florals soften the structure and give the pod the warmth of a beauty counter rather than the hardness of a temporary kiosk.

Outcome

Concourse fabrication has its own rules: no floor fixing, public access on every face, and installation into a live retail environment. The pod was engineered as a self-ballasted structure with no exposed fixings or sharp edges, finished entirely off-site, and built in sections sized to pass through service access routes. The LED column was pre-wired and tested before delivery, and the whole pod was installed and dressed outside trading hours so it appeared complete when the mall opened.
