PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what Going Highway Entertainers Private Limited ("GHE", "we") collects when you use goinghighway.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the EU/UK, the GDPR.

2. Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry form or the pop-up enquiry box, we collect:

• Contact details: your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number.
• Project details: the service you are interested in and anything you write in the message field — event dates, venue, brief, budget indications.

3. Information collected automatically

Some data is recorded without you typing it. Being specific about this matters, so:

• With every enquiry we also store your IP address, your browser user-agent string, and the page you submitted from. This is used to spot spam and abuse and to understand which pages generate enquiries.
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider record requests to the site in the ordinary course of operating it.
• Analytics and advertising cookies, but only after you accept them — see section 4.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site can load three third-party tools. All of them are disabled by default and are only activated if you press Accept on the cookie banner:

• Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they are.
• Google Tag Manager — the container that loads our measurement tags.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Until you accept, Google's tags run with consent signals set to denied and the Meta Pixel is not downloaded at all. Strictly necessary items — remembering your cookie choice, and your light/dark theme preference — work without consent because the site cannot function properly otherwise.

5. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver work you commission.
• To keep a record of enquiries so our team can follow up and reference past conversations.
• To detect and limit spam and automated abuse of our forms.
• With your consent, to measure site performance and the effectiveness of our advertising.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Legal basis

For visitors in India, we process enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give by submitting the form, for the stated purpose of responding to you. For visitors in the EU/UK, our lawful bases are consent (cookies, analytics, advertising) and legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and protecting our forms from abuse).

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. It is shared only with:

• Our hosting provider, which stores the website, its database and our email.
• Google and Meta, if and only if you accepted analytics and advertising cookies.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Google and Meta process data on servers outside India, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred internationally, it is done under the transfer safeguards those providers operate.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for [RETENTION PERIOD — TO BE CONFIRMED], after which they are deleted from our database and mailbox. Cookie preferences are stored in your own browser until you clear them. If you ask us to erase your data sooner, we will do so except where we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy.
• Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase your data, where we have no overriding obligation to keep it.
• Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the DPDP Act.

Visitors in the EU/UK additionally have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email Info@goinghighway.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

11. Security

Enquiries are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. Access is limited to the members of our team who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

12. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and, where the change affects how we use data you have already given us, tell you directly.
