The Brief

Present home textile collections to international buyers

The Approach

Home textiles are specified by buyers imagining a finished room, not a folded sample. P.P. International needed its collections presented at K Fair in a way that let international buyers see the product in use and still compare the full range efficiently.

Design, Production & Execution

The design does both at once, in layers. At the centre sits a fully dressed dining vignette - a real room-set, styled and framed within the stand, showing the textiles in application at true scale. Ringing it, product shelving carries the broader range for systematic comparison. Buyers get the emotional read from the vignette and the commercial read from the shelving without leaving the stand or switching mode.

Outcome

Room sets are effectively an interior fit-out inside an exhibition build, so they were pre-built and pre-dressed as a module, with the framing detailed to present the vignette like a set rather than merely enclosing it. Shelving was engineered for textile loading with a mounting system that allows collections to be re-dressed quickly during the show. Fabrication and dressing were sequenced so the vignette landed complete and the surrounding shelving was stocked around it, keeping the on-site programme short.
