The Brief
Launch a Made-in-India set-top box and broadband range
The Approach
Jiuzhou used CMEF Shanghai to launch a Made-in-India set-top box and broadband range - a positioning story as much as a product one. The stand had to carry manufacturing credibility to an international audience while still functioning as a working demo environment for devices that only make sense when you see them running.
Design, Production & Execution
The palette does the positioning. Two-tone blue anchors the brand, warm timber softens it, and the combination reads as considered manufacturing rather than commodity electronics. Product shelving is wall-mounted in disciplined runs so the range can be read as a line-up in one glance, with screen demo positions integrated into the same wall architecture - hardware and the experience it delivers presented on the same plane instead of in separate zones.
Outcome
Integrating live AV into a finished wall is where fabrication decisions get made early. Screen positions, device mounts, power and data routes were fixed at design stage and built into the wall modules in the workshop, with service access retained behind. Timber and laminate finishes were pre-applied and protected for transit, so the on-site programme was assembly, cable termination, device installation and testing - with a full signal check completed the day before opening.
