The Brief
Anchor the Smarter Connected Societies smart-city positioning
The Approach
Mobile World Congress is the most contested exhibition floor in telecoms. Intracom Telecom needed its Smarter Connected Societies platform to hold its own against operator megastands, using presence and craft rather than sheer footprint.
Design, Production & Execution
The design commits hard to a two-colour identity - saturated red against white - so the stand is recognisable from a distance without relying on scale. A coffered light ceiling gives the island a defined volume from above, floor-glow detailing traces the perimeter and separates the stand from hall carpet, and a dedicated Smart City wall carries the platform narrative in one place instead of scattering it across the build. The lighting is doing the brand work; the graphics stay disciplined.
Outcome
Coffered ceilings are unforgiving in fabrication - every misalignment reads. The ceiling was engineered as a rigged modular grid, dry-assembled and lit in the workshop to check shadow lines and colour temperature consistency across every coffer, then shipped as pre-wired sections. On site the rig went up first from the ceiling down, with floor-glow channels installed into the raised floor build and the whole scheme balanced in a night lighting session before the show opened.
