The Brief

Position the brand across video streaming and OTT monetisation

The Approach

IBC is a software show where the product is invisible. Harmonic needed a stand at Amsterdam that could carry a broad streaming and OTT monetisation story to broadcasters and operators, while giving its sales teams enough working demo positions to run back-to-back meetings for the length of the show.

Design, Production & Execution

The plot's long, narrow geometry became the concept rather than the constraint. A full-height backlit graphic wall runs the entire 20m+ frontage as a single continuous statement, readable from the far end of the aisle, while a repeating rhythm of demo pods steps along it. Each pod is a self-contained conversation - screen, counter, seating - so the stand works as one brand landmark at hall scale and as a dozen private meetings at human scale.

Outcome

Building a lightwall that long without visible seams or hot spots was the fabrication challenge. The wall was engineered as a modular backlit frame system with the graphic tensioned across panelised sections, sample-tested for luminance evenness before production, and the demo pods were pre-built and wired as units. That modularity meant the whole frontage went up in sequence during a compressed build window and struck down just as cleanly.
