The Brief
Present the refreshed brand and route network to travel trade
The Approach
Air India came to ITB Berlin with a refreshed brand and a route network to sell to the travel trade - and an audience that would judge the airline's transformation partly by how the stand felt to sit in.
Design, Production & Execution
The design leads with an arched brand portal that puts the refreshed identity into architecture, giving the stand a recognisable silhouette across a hall of national tourism boards. A large LED wall carries destination and network storytelling at scale, an actual cabin seat display lets trade partners experience the onboard product rather than being told about it, and an extensive hosted seating area supports the volume of scheduled trade meetings the show generates - hospitality treated as core function, not overflow.
Outcome
Cabin product raises the fabrication standard, because a real aircraft seat next to poor joinery exposes the joinery. Display plinths and surrounding finishes were built to match the tolerance and quality of the seat itself, with the seat installation planned for load and safe public access. The arched portal was fabricated in pre-finished sections to keep the curve continuous, the LED wall was structurally integrated and calibrated on site, and the hospitality area was built with service and storage designed in for full-day operation.
