The Brief
Present the Saurbhi snack and food range to export buyers
The Approach
Gulfood is packed with snack and packaged-food exhibitors using bright colour and heavy branding. Patidar Exports needed its Saurbhi range to look premium to export buyers, which meant doing the opposite of the hall.
Design, Production & Execution
The design goes dark and warm. Fluted timber architecture gives the stand texture and a considered, hospitality-grade feel, warm LED coving washes the surfaces so packaging colour lifts against a rich ground instead of competing with white glare, and planted edges soften the perimeter. A full product retail wall carries the range like a store fixture rather than a trade display - the products are merchandised, faced and lit as they would be in the destination market the buyers represent.
Outcome
Fluted timber is a fabrication detail that fails on inconsistency. Profiles were machined to a common section and the flute rhythm was set out to continue across panel joints, with panels finished off-site and edge-protected for shipping to Dubai. Coving channels and drivers were built into the joinery in the workshop with wiring concealed. Retail shelving was engineered for the product weights and loading pattern, and the stand was installed, merchandised and light-focused before opening, with restocking routes retained behind the wall.
