The Brief
Deliver a full-scale Delhi wedding across multiple functions and venues
The Approach
A Delhi wedding is not one event but a run of them - each function with its own guest list, mood and timing, and almost always in venues that have to be completely transformed and then handed back. The brief was to hold a single design language across all of it while meeting immovable muhurat timings.
Design, Production & Execution
The design worked from one visual concept expressed at different intensities across the functions, so guests experienced variety without the wedding ever feeling like it belonged to different families. Decor, floral, lighting and stage design were developed together rather than bought separately - the stage set as the anchor composition each evening, with lighting states designed to shift the same room from daylight ceremony to night-time reception.
Outcome
Execution is where a wedding is won. Fabricated elements were built off-site so venue access time went to installation rather than construction, with a build sequence planned around each venue's load-in windows, power availability and rigging limits. Floral was scheduled for freshness against function times, changeovers between functions were rehearsed as timed operations, and a crew stayed on through every function to run cues, manage resets and absorb the schedule shifts that every wedding produces.
